SUPERSNOW ON HEL
This summer in Poland during the first weekend of August , when the temperature reached 3o°Celsius, snowboarders and tourists crowded in the seaside resort on Hel peninsula. On the beach in Chałupy a 30m high obstacle course was built with about 100 tons of snow. Something’s never seen at the Polish seaside.
To create jibbing competitions in middle of the summer, the organizers of Snow on Hel took advantage of the AWS ( All Weather Snow) machine, which works well in positive temperatures. The AWS has been created by Supersnow to give an alternative complete snowmaking system guarantying snow before the season when ski and slope owners can afford the slightest risk, but as we can see it perfectly performs in situations when the snow plays key role. Although the winter is still far away, but for Supersnow season continues throughout the year.
